My students need an organizing cart to organize all of our hands-on math center activities.

My Students

Math in 3rd grade can be very abstract, and my students need help taking abstract concepts and making them their own.

I have a very economically diverse classroom.

I have students who come from homes where they are well taken care of, and I have students who face many challenges outside of the school day at home. Even though they come from different home lives and backgrounds they all love to play and explore.

My Project

In order to help my students play and explore math, I am asking for an organizing cart to help us organize our hands-on math activities. It is extremely important for students to be able to play with math concepts in order to make them their own. With the cart my students will have the math activities easily accessible to ensure that they can always play and grow in their math understandings.

Math is necessary in many everyday activities and if students are able to play with math they are more likely to fully understand the math and use it more every day.

I am trying to create young mathematicians with a great love and joy for everything mathematical. Please help me help students LOVE math!!
