My students need construction paper to draw on, paint on, and to create crafts with!

My Students

Have you ever tried painting a watercolor picture on a sheet of copy paper? Major fail. Copy paper is super thin and is fine for free draw, but is a major disaster when it comes to making actual projects. Construction paper is much sturdier and will make an affordable option for project paper!

My students are 800 of the most creative kids I know.

Many of these kids I have taught since they were in kindergarten so we have spent years getting to know each other and have built a great relationship. Like many public schools, budgets are nonexistent in my school, so we have had to make do with less than ideal supplies in the art room- mainly using copy paper for our art projects.

My Project

I am requesting construction paper. Red, orange, yellow, green,blue, purple, pink, black, brown, and lots and lots of white. The colored paper will be great to make crafts and colorful projects out of, and the white paper will be wonderful to paint on!

I want my students to love art and I want them to have fun making art.

I hate that supplies are limited and that they have been forced to make due with copy paper for our paintings. Please help me supply quality paper for these kids so that they can make wonderful paintings that will survive the trip to the drying rack!
