These resources have made a huge difference in our day-to-day and helped us stay organized! Originally, I was going to use the over the door hanger for headphones. However, some student headphones were too big to fit, so now it is being used as a hydration station (students put their water bottles in it). The chair pockets have been amazing to keep our folders in. As for the baggies, they have come in handy when a student breaks something of theirs or doesn't finish a snack, then they can take it home safely. The markers have been awesome for making my anchor charts more colorful, especially when it comes to math! I think it's a lot easier for students to see what is going on with the strategy with the different colors used. It has brought excitement to the students introducing them to a new sport. \r\n\r\nPickleball is very popular in Indianapolis and we are so proud to introduce this to our students. In fact, it became so popular at our school that we were able to put a pickleball court on our playground. Students in kindergarten through sixth grade played pickleball. Grades 3-6 were able to compete in a tournament which we were very surprised at the improvement they made. Thanks to your contribution, we were able to provide students with essential tools, including fidgets, Velcro strips, and lanyards—simple items that are already making a big difference in our learning environment.\r\n\r\nThese sensory supports are helping our students stay focused, manage anxiety, and engage more meaningfully in the classroom. For many, especially those with sensory processing needs, having access to calming fidgets or tactile Velcro strips has provided comfort and reduced distractions. The lanyards have also made it easier for students to use passes to travel to and from our room, promoting a sense of responsibility and independence.\r\n\r\nYour kindness has helped create a more inclusive and supportive space for all learners. We've seen an increase in participation, fewer behavioral interruptions, and, most importantly, more smiles and confidence in our students.\r\n\r\nFrom all of us—staff and students alike—thank you for believing in our mission and making this impact possible.","fullyFundedDate":1733263840481,"projectUrl":"project/resource-refresh/8906660/","projectTitle":"Resource Refresh","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Goodman","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp3674798_orig.jpg?crop=272,272,x345,y166&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1614699254982","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/3674798"},{"teacherId":8295680,"projectId":9047387,"letterContent":"My students and I are extremely grateful for your support in getting us new books for our classroom.
