My Students

Students need exposure to technology and literacy during early childhood.

I have fifteen students in my homeroom class.

I teach at a Title 1 school where all of my students are eligible for free/reduced lunch. Many of my students come from a low-income home, where they are unable to have books available or the adults may not have the literacy skills to help their child.

My Project

Tag School Readers create a multisensory reading experience for students. Tag School Readers allow children to hear stories read aloud, get on-demand pronunciation for individual words, and play fun, educational activities. Tag School Readers will be used as personal learning tools, which will provide audio feedback and immediate reading assistance. Thanks to Donors Choose and donors like you, our class has the actual Tag Readers, but we need these special books to use with them!

Tag Reader books will help students bring reading to life. Students will be able to engage all of their senses, while making reading a rich, fulfilling experience.
