It is time students play a sport that exercises the mind and body. I currently teach 5th grade science and math, but this program is targeted to both 4th and 5th grade students. I am constantly going on about how much I enjoy disc golf to my students. They laugh and cut up with me, but I know once they see the benefits of it they will enjoy it as much as I do. Not only is this a great sport, but the educational benefits for math and science are tremendous.

In a small town community, it is tough to find those enjoyable things we can come back to again and again. Family time sometimes goes by the wayside to make room for other stuff. Students need to see the importance of math, science, citizenship, and fitness. Disc golf allows them to do that.

Disc golf allows for the whole family to play a wholesome sport. We want a school program that promotes the learning and development of a lifetime sport, one that they can also play later in life with ease.

With your gracious donation, our students will be able to learn a new, exciting, and growing sport. Your donation will let us introduce disc golf to young players, enhance classroom skills through new challenges, and develop lifetime habits of exercise and fitness. Bottom line: You can help our students succeed.
