They have also enjoyed listening to the slide whistle and using it for various activities, such as rhythm four corners and vocal warm ups. \r\n\r\nMy younger students have enjoyed the stretchy bands and castanets the most. They love to use the stretchy band in small groups to move and play, and loved to discover a new instrument in the castanet; they love the rhythmic clicking and tell me it looks like a seashell. My students with special needs especially love the stretchy bands; their eyes light up when we use them. \r\n\r\nMy older students love the boomwhackers, especially because we have enough for every student to have their own. They enjoy creating music together and being able to hear every note in every song we play.","fullyFundedDate":1752586541500,"projectUrl":"project/moving-and-grooving-in-the-music-room/9428855/","projectTitle":"Moving and Grooving in the Music Room","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Baker","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-5_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7397529"},{"teacherId":1874329,"projectId":8631699,"letterContent":"On behalf of our students and staff, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for your generous contribution to our grant for headphones. My third grade students at Fountain Inn Elementary have benefitted from your generosity. As a result of your donation, each student in my classroom has their own set of headphones with a microphone. These new headphones have assisted students in helping them be more successful on new programs at our school such as AMIRA and Dreambox. Many students did not have headphones with built-in microphones and it was hard for the program to pick up their voices. These new headphones have made a tremendous difference! Students are now more successful with this program and not as frustrated when the program was unable to pick up their voice.\r\n In addition, with each student having their own headphones, this has cut down on distracting noises in the classroom. Students are able to hear the programs they are on without any issues as a result of their own devices.\r\n Thank you again for your kindness.
