Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

When was the last time you drove down a street in the inner city? How did it make you feel? My students come from a poverty driven, gang related and drug infested area. My students also lack of role models, who assist them in seeking their vision.

My students are high school students who attend a low income, high poverty school in New Jersey.

They are wonderful students who DO want to excel, but don't have the resources to enjoy learning. With assistance from the donor program we be able to have a positive impact with the use of high quality education materials.

My Project

I am requesting a interactive whiteboard and 1 laptop. These resources will help me expand my teaching methods. The students will be able to interact with other Spanish speaking countries using the Internet and the whiteboard. The students will also enjoy using the technology. With these resources my students will better prepare themselves for the technological society we currently live in.

It will assist and guide them from a impoverished area.

It will help them to become well rounded functioning adults in our society, who will one day be productive and educated mentors.
