My Students

Many of my students will most likely be the first in their family to attend college. This project will show students that education is the key to be successful in life. My plan is to have my students develop goals for each year, culminating with what they want to be in life.

Have you ever experienced being confined to a low economic area in a major city?

The beautiful realms of life are not present. I want to be the sparkle that sets the fires of life’s successes in my students’ lives by creating a world that will help them receive a good education. My class consists of eight girls and twelve boys. These students live in a secluded section of the city where trees and ruins cover the area. They are from various cultural backgrounds with the same initial circumstances. To bring life to a striving community, through these children, the supplies and equipment will produce effective results.

My Project

I will show students statistically that people who attend college earn at least a million dollars more than a person who has not attended college. Students will tell me what career choice could they possibly want to be. I will host a career day. We will use the Laptop to view pictures in small groups. With this equipment and supplies, my students will be able to visualize life from the cradle to careers.

It is important to instill hope into our kids at an early age.

Many are living in impoverished conditions, with little motivation from family members. The premise is to have professionals from similar backgrounds to tell their story. By showing that there is another way to live, besides drugs and violence, we can hopefully turn a statistic into an achiever. This projects will encourage my students to stay in school and become a model citizen of the United States.
