My students need books on their reading level to read at home and in the classroom, and also places to read to make reading comfortable and enjoyable.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Help children in poverty get books in their hands that excite them and make them want to keep reading! Be the change in these kids lives that gives them the opportunity to have access to books that interest them!
These students are high poverty students who do not have books at home to read to their parents, and little siblings.
These are students who are so eager to learn but unfortunately do not have all the tools easily available for them. The local library is not in walking distant to the school and many do not have transportation so, the books they are exposed to and able to use from school are many times the only books they have.
My Project
I am requesting books that are age/level appropriate for my students. I have carefully selected books that I know will interest them and keep them reading! I have also requested bean bags to give the students a fun, and relaxing space to read. With your kind donation these kids will be on their way to a lifetime love for reading.
Once again, this project is so important because we must get text in to these young children's hands so they can develop a passion for reading.
Reading is the key to success! Many of these children will never get that opportunity if someone like you doesn't help. With this generous donation students' reading abilities will soar and they will be successful in school and in the future.
