These students are high poverty students who do not have books at home to read to their parents, and little siblings. These are students who are so eager to learn but unfortunately do not have all the tools easily available for them. The local library is not in walking distant to the school and many do not have transportation so, the books they are exposed to and able to use from school are many times the only books they have.
