My Students

Our middle school students in grades six through eight all struggle with self-confidence issues. My hope is that by providing books that share positive character education, our students will be less likely to bully others.

We have 762 North Carolina middle school students in grades six through eight.

Over 62 percent of these students are on the free and reduced lunch program, which tells me that a large portion of our students struggle financially. Most of our students come from very diverse backgrounds.

My Project

With these books, I hope to provide educational materials that will provide positive lessons about character education. I hope by providing examples of positive character traits, we can achieve an environment that will be a positive one for all of our students.

Bullying others can happen as a result of a lot of issues within a family or in a child's life.

These books are necessary to help our students overcome their struggles and issues so that bullying will never be an issue. With positive education and reinforcement, it is my hope that the outcome will be positive behavior.
