My Students

We are requesting a digital camera, so we will have another set of eyes recording progress in the classroom. When we finish a module, students perform for classmates using new grammar and vocabulary. With this camera, we can record both photos and videos and allow students to add performances to their digital portfolios.

My students are at an under-served, underfunded city school, but that doesn't keep them from being highly motivated, self-disciplined students.

Unfortunately, our school has only one art teacher and two theatre teachers for 1,650 students. This digital camera will allow students to tap into their artistic side as they perform skits and poetry with newly acquired Spanish language.

My Project

Just one camera will allow 150 students to be recorded. In today's digital age, it's easy to upload those takes, and project them onto a computer for students and families to watch. Students will be able to see their progress and access an online portfolio which will enable them to see changes and progress from year one through year four.
