Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

A typical day on our practice court involves a ball control warm up followed by position specific skill training, and drills to develop our offensive and defensive systems.

Our players live in one of the most diverse cities in the country.

We have players of different ethnicity's who come from very different socio-economic backgrounds. Our school has a wonderful history and was built in the 1920's. Because it is an older school it lacks some of the amenities you would see in a newer high school, but it makes up for the lack of amenities with its charm.

My Project

The skill attack ball machine would allow us to take our volleyball practices to the next level. The machine can deliver topspin serves as well as float serves to work on serve receive. In addition it could deliver accurate and consistent soft sets with no spin to work on hitting. The machine is portable and would be great for so many game like drills.

Donations to this project could help turn our volleyball team from a good team to a great team.

Our volleyball program simply could not afford this machine without donations. The machine will allow our players to take their defensive and offensive games to the next level.
