Bully Documentary Trip

My students need to see the "Bully" documentary. I would like to take the 7th grade students to see it.

My Students

All students encounter bullying in one way or another. My 7th graders are currently facing bullying in their school as are all middle school students. We would like to attack this problem by using the documentary "Bully" to begin a discussion about how to stop bullying at our school.

Our students are from a very diverse district in WA, academically, ethnically, and economically.

We aim to provide our students with the best education but often face challenges outside of our control. Our students are highly involved in after school activities, especially sports.

My Project

We are requesting bus transportation and funding for tickets to see the movie "Bully". By seeing this movie we will partner the viewing with lessons created and implemented by our WEB leaders (student leadership). The goal of this process is to have an open discussion about the effects of bullying and how students can make a difference as an individual.

Your donations will make it possible for us to implement a opportunity for students to learn about how one person can make a difference in the fight against bullying.

With this opportunity we really want to teach our students that one person can change how someone treats another person and/or how someone feels.
