Bullies! Bullies! Go Away

My students need books to help them understand the importance of not bullying in school, including 19 copies of "Junie B. Jones Is Captain Field Day," along with colored paper & twistables to create posters to help stop bullying.

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

To go against the dominant thinking of your friends, of most of the people you see every day, is perhaps the most difficult act of heroism you can perform.- Theodore H. White This quote is how I want my students to react when facing the difficulties of bullying and everyday life.

My students are faced with being bullied at school.

They come from a high poverty community where many times the younger students are bullied by older kids. Then they bring it back into the school and try to do the same with their classmates. They are really great kids but just need to be steered in the right direction.

My Project

Your generous donations and with the help of Townsend Press we can help eliminate bullying in my classroom. We can provide them with great books to show them why bullying is unacceptable. Then they can use the art materials to create posters that educate the school on why to stop bullying.

This project is so important because it provides my students with the necessary resources to make good choices.

Also, it will help them understand the difference between a good choice and bad choice. This project is so essential for my students.
