My Students

Reading is an extremely fundamental skill that everyone should be entitled to.

I teach second grade in a low income area in southern Louisiana.

In our class we currently have 31 ESL (English as a Second Language) students. Their language levels vary from non-English speaking to completely fluent. Each and every one of my students wants to be the best that they can. It is my job as an educator to give them every opportunity I can.

My Project

I am asking for a variety of Reading center activities. These activity centers would allow for me to differentiate the same skill to each child's individual learning level. These activities correspond with our daily curriculum and would allow for the students to explore even further into these Reading skills.

Every child deserves a chance to learn to read.

These centers will allow for my children to learn and have fun at the same time. Your support will be appreciated greatly by us all.
