My Students

They say a "picture is worth a thousand words." I would like to capture my Business and Economics Academy through photography. We will use photos to illustrate all the hard work the students do each day.

Our school uses The "School-Wide Enrichment Model for the Gifted and Talented".

We embrace students' interests, provide experiences, pique curiosity, and present opportunities to nurture the life-long learner. My class chose my Economics and Business Academy as their 5th grade experience. We have a weekly cookie/pretzel sale. My class is in charge of selling the above items to all the children in the school. We keep track of profit, handle all the money that comes into the classroom, and deliver the product right to the classroom. This is a wonderful and hands-on learning experience for the children!

My Project

The photographs will be displayed in the classroom as well as throughout the school. We will show the students how we incorporate our business into the learning environment at our school. It will be a great learning tool to display to other children in our school!

The camera we have for our academy is outdated and very hard to navigate.

I would love a new camera to help the students capture all the wonderful work we do in the Business and Economics Academy.
