My project needs 1 All-in-One color printer for creating communication boards, picture schedules and other various items for use in Speech and Lanugage therapy as well as black and color ink cartridges.

I work as the Speech Therapist at an Elementary School with 1st and 2nd Graders. I work with about 50 children with different types of communication disorders as well as students with other disabilities including Autism. My campus does not have a lot of funding for items such as color printers, but the population I work with needs things such as communication books and picture schedules in color. Black and white images are not as successful with the population of students that I am working with. An all-in-one printer would be beneficial as I am not able to leave a group of children to run off a copy or 2 for carryover activities to do at home. I try to plan ahead for such things, but often times I am in a time crunch. I like to provide worksheets to use with articulation and language students for both use in therapy and home. The benefit of having the copier to make simple worksheets would be useful for many of the students I have on my caseload. Special Education has a small budget and a resource such as this printer/copier would really benefit my students in order to provide quick and colorful communication sheets for improved Speech and Language acquisition. I certainly appreciate your time and consideration. Imagine a life without communication!!!
