I teach in a resource classroom of 14 students with visual impairments who are mainstreamed at a public school in Spartanburg, SC. We are in desperate need of new chairs. Our current chairs are losing their upholstery, have no back rest, and are broken. Students are constantly taking chairs from another desk in order to have a chair while using special equipment in our classroom. I am requesting 16 student chairs to replace our existing chairs and 4 additional chairs to provide seating at our two computer labs and CCTV workstations (specialized equipment for students with visual impairments) in our classroom. So the next time I hear, "Where's My Chair?" I hope I can say, "It's here thanks to DonorsChoose."
