This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Help our students love to research and write! One of our 7th grade standards is to write an expository essay in which students are required to do research. The use of technology is essential in getting expository essays completed by using the web and a word processor.

My 7th grade students attend a 6-8th grade Title I funded middle school located in a low income and at risk neighborhood.

Technology is a resource that we highly desire because with only one computer lab for the entire school, my students have little accessibility. With tablet in the classroom we can always have ready access to apps and internet. My students are eager to learn especially in a fun and innovative way.

My Project

My students need an Samsung Galaxy Tablet to help with research writing projects for our English period and to use History apps during our World History period.v With a Samsung tablet in the classroom my students will have the RESOUCE needed to help facilitate and benefit our future writing assignments in hand. The Samsung tablet will not only help in our English class with research projects, but, in addition can help students with in our World History class so that they are able to use apps such as Brain Pop and notebooks.

Our low-income students need the help.

With the proper RESOURCES and education we can make sure these students will have what it takes to succeed and be prepared for our high in-demand skills in technology future.
