Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Just imagine you have animals to take care of at a high school and no equipment to take care of them at all or have animals and no barns for them to sleep at night.

Well here at our High School we have 7 1/2 acres of agriculture land that the students maintain and take care of throwout the year.

We have around 200 students in our class for out Ag program. We are part of FFA which is "Future Farms of America which we just got reinstated last year. The students work very hard to keep our program alive. We are one of only three Ag Department left in Los Angeles. So we want to keep our program alive and going for future students.

My Project

With these items purchased buy all the donors our students would be able to see how medicine can help all the farm animals we have at the school. We have over 100 animals at our school and with only a $400 budget to survive on throwout the whole school year. All the students can house our rabbits with new cages and also have all the medicine they need to take care of them if any animals get sick.We can also have my tools to keep out land clean and environmentally save.

With all your help we can show other schools from other parts of California the Los Angeles has Agriculture Departments and that we can still teach students about animal health and care and breeding.

With your help we can keep vocational programs around in Los Angeles to show students about agriculture life.
