Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Help us save time and to stay organized! Our homework monitors can easily collect and distribute papers quickly and efficiently.

My 22 students are first graders who attend an inner city school located in downtown Los Angeles.

Our school is also a Title One charter school where most of the students come from the surrounding neighborhood. They like to be challenged and are eager to learn.

My Project

The homework center will help my students by giving them a place for their homework to be collected and completed. We'll save time by being more efficient in passing out papers and supplies for daily routines and assignments and we'll be able to keep our things in one place in case we miss a day at school.

The homework center will help keep our classroom running more smoothly and efficiently.

Any time we can save by being better organized is time that can be used to learn. We'll be so much more efficient in checking who has done their homework, who's finished with their work, just by a quick glance at who's cubby is full or empty! There are just so many ways in which this type of organization center helps save time in the classroom.
