My Students

Do you remember at recess time when you and your friends would get together and play a great game of basketball or kickball?! Well, I would like to give my wonderful students the opportunities that I had the chance to have.

I have a wonderful group of loving children.

They love to learn and they love to be active. Unfortunately for many of my students they do not have the means at home to stay active and exercise. So many of my students come from low income homes and do not have the materials to learn different games and skills of sports.

My Project

These materials will impact my students greatly! Not only will it allow my students to become more active it will teach them how to work as a team. At this age it is so important for students to learn how to work as a team. Here students can play games with the balls, whether it's a game like basketball, soccer or they make up their own game. It will create more active students as well as an opening to their imagination.

The students will get the chance to work as a team and build their team working skills.

So many of these children do not have the opportunity to purchase these items or experience out of school sports due to the cost. Having these sports balls will make my students learn sports, hopefully teach them leadership and self control.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
