My Students

Men love to wonder, and that is the seed of science. ~Ralph Waldo Emerson We all start out as children of wonderment. As an educator, I hope to encourage that wonderment. We are in need of more science and health reading and hands-on materials.

The 24 third-graders in my class are excited to read and learn about science and health.

Our school district provides limited supplies when it comes to science materials...especially reading materials. The district's curriculum requires us to teach health and science experiences, and it is difficult for teachers to purchase them for their students. I am hoping to gather a few supplies to provide my students, and future students, to provoke the wonderment all children have.

My Project

I hope to "plant a few seeds" of science and health wonderment with my third-graders. We would be grateful for a few books and hands-on materials to explore alternative energy sources, magnetism, health, and gather a few measurement supplies. We hope there is someone who believes in the power of developing young minds toward the sciences, and will donate toward our wonderment...

Science holds the power to the future of all mankind.

Developing and encouraging the wonderment of children is important toward all of us. We are hoping to gather a few science and health supplies to help our minds grow. One never knows when we might be providing an experience to a future "Einstein" or "Newton" that could cure cancer or discover something phenomenal! We hope you believe in the power of educating our future...children...
