My Students

Technology is the way of the world! My students must stay on target with required technology interventions to strengthen their literacy skills.

I work with fifteen excited first grade students weekly.

They love computers, however, the computers we have are not always so friendly. Some work slow, outdated, or do not work at all. The students know they have task to complete and want to complete their assignments to see progress. First graders do not handle frustration very well. So an additional computer would be very helpful, and my students will be able to make progress and receive weekly rewards and praises.

My Project

In today's society everyone must or should know how to operate a computer. With that in mind, our school has several mandated computer interventions for students to complete and have a certain amount of time spent each day recorded. My first graders have a username and passwords for each program and know them all! Computers are limited, which means some students get left out, or have to wait. It would also be nice to have a laptop because they are mobile. We like to stay in compliance and be mentioned as one of the top schools for quarterly reporting.

Continuing to prepare my students for the real world, I hope you see fit to support us with another computer.
