Homework Can Be Fun!

My students need homework folders and supplies to support newly created Homework Adventure Packets!

My Students

Do you remember hating to do your homework? Well not anymore! I have created Homework Adventure Packets that are filled with hands-on activities that are fun and highly educational. However, I need certain supplies to put this idea into action!

My students are amazing 4th and 5th graders who have incredible determination and passion for learning.

We are in a high poverty, inner city school. My students are very appreciative of all they receive and are truly a great group of respectful individuals.

My Project

I am requesting durable homework folders for each student that will last all year. We need backpacks that will be filled with the Homework Adventure Kit that kids can take home. These backpacks will be filled with all the materials they need and it will help those that don't have many supplies at home to use. We also need hooks and stickers to provide organizational support to carry out this new homework system.

I would like to change kids' attitudes towards homework!

I have such a hard time getting a 100% turn-in rate for homework each week. When I hand out homework, there is a wave of sighs and whines throughout the room. Please help me make homework fun and help them to grow in all academic areas!
