My Students

Have you ever tried to read a book with pages falling out? My students will soon be reading The Lottery Rose. The copies of the book that I have are over 10 years old and have many pages falling out of them. Help us get new books!!!

Our elementary school is a very small, rural, Title I school in South Carolina.

Many of our students are on either free or reduced lunch. My students love to read and are eager to learn. Many of the students don't have books on their level and that they are interested in reading in their homes. They would greatly appreciate all efforts to help them.

My Project

The Lottery Rose is one of the best books that my students will read this year. It always has a big impact on the lives of my students. My students need these books so that they don't have to read old books that have pages falling out of them. I don't have enough copies for my students to take the books home to complete homework assignments and projects that are assigned to them.

Please help my students read this novel that will greatly influence them.

It's one of the best novels for 6th grade students. Child abuse, love, family relationships, and death are touched on in this novel that will have much meaning to these students.
