They have really enjoyed having the nice rug in the classroom as a gathering place for group work. They were so excited when the rug arrived and still like it today. It adds so much warmth to our classroom. \r\n\r\nThe desk has been a place that my students have been able to go to work on their writing assignments. This one desk has been a popular place for students to sit quietly and reflect on their writings. Bearded dragons are expected to live around 8 to 12 years so I know my third graders now will want to come back and visit Lilo throughout the following years.
