My Students

"A house without books is like a room without windows." ~ Heinrich Mann These deserving young minds need windows (books) in the classroom so that can see all the possibilities that they can explore.

My second grade students enjoy coming to school.

Many of my students live in a high poverty community and are learning English as a second language. They come to school without the proper supplies and often struggle with reading. Books and other materials are not available to the students and their parents. My students are all enthusiastic about learning and need the necessary materials to succeed in reading. These students especially like reading.

My Project

These books will allow for the students to read and learn at their own level in reading. They will be able to be successful in reading and not be discouraged about reading. By providing books, students will have the opportunity to increase their level of reading, as well as learn new and exciting information.

By donating to this project you will be able to make a tremendous impact on these students love and enjoyment for reading.

Nothing is more rewarding then seeing young minds seek new knowledge through reading.
