Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Help us keep our projector and laptop safe from danger and theft with a lockable stand!

My students consist of three 8th grade classes and one 7th grade class totaling 97 students in a limited funding Chicago Public School.

They are a bright, energetic group that loves to learn and have fun in the process. They are excited to use new technology in the classroom.

My Project

The storage cart will allow me to use the classroom projector to its fullest potential by allowing me to adjust the height to the students needs as well as providing me with a lockable storage compartment. This will allow my students to present power points and projects at a comfortable standing level and will give a safe environment to the projector and laptop. With a new projector in the classroom, I want to make sure that I can use it for years and years to come and this cart will allow me to have a sturdy bast so it can stand on and a lockable storage compartment so that it can stay in the safety of the classroom without worry.

I have just purchased a new projector and do not want this wonderful type of technology to go to waste by falling off of a desk or go missing.

With your donations I will be able to use technology in my classroom year after year by having a safe place to use and store the projector. This will allow many new faces that enter my classroom to use technology to help get them ready for their future.
