My Students

My students are ready to learn and deserve the finest learning possibilities available.

My students are eager learners with bright ideas.

They come to school willing and able to learn. The students all hail from this small community which has been forced to rebuild and these students can be part of that process as long as they have the correct guidance.

My Project

I have asked for a rug for my reading area so that the students have a comfortable place to read and learn. I have also asked for a cd player so that the students can listen to stories when they have an opportunity and thus continue to engage their reading skills. And, finally, learning to read also means learning to write and the students are all eager to write and wipe so I've asked for dry erase boards that they can keep at their desk for this.

This project is important to me because I am often looking for new and exciting ways to engage the students.

By having a comfortable reading area and the ability to offer them books on cd that they can listen to and even illustrate, my students are one step ahead of the next generation of learners.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
