My Students

My students have enough difficulties in their lives. They need technology to make learning easier and assessments motivating!! Motivating technology keeps my students' attention and helps them to focus.

My students are the cutest students in the world!!

I am biased! They are happy. They have multiple significant disabilities ranging from intellectual disabilities, communication disabilities, behavioral disabilities and physical disabilities. We are a special education class within a regular education school. Our students love building peer relationships with their regular education peers. They love being a part of a regular education class and participating with their regular education peers.

My Project

We are hoping to get 5 SMART remotes to use with our students. Our school has SMART remotes with numbers on them, but numbers are too difficult for our students to comprehend. We need these SMART remotes with colors, so that our students can benefit from the SMART technologies that our regular education peers have access to. The SMART remotes will make assessments motivating and fun! The curriculum software will motivate our students to learn. All of our students enjoy working on the computer. Having curriculum based software will make their computer time have the most benefit. We do centers daily. We would incorporate computer time into those centers and also allow our students to use them at various other times in our day.

This equipment will make a huge difference to our students learning, progress, and motivation.

Our students will want to learn! This software will give our students access to similar equipment as their regular education peers.
