My students need 3 types of communication devices in order to speak.

My Students

Imagine a normal school day walking across the street being once normal and then at a blink of an eye getting hit by a car. Your world crashes instantly. Now imagine not being able to talk.

These elementary students suffer from traumatic brain injury, cancer, or other life threatening diseases.

These are students that are placed in a children's rehabilitation hospital in New York State. Many of these children need intensive special educational services and therapy in order to recover. It is essential that these students receive the best services so that they can recover.

My Project

Communication devices will give these students a voice. These students can not express their needs or wants. With the help of this material they will be able to access the curriculum of the school. Hopefully they will also be able to say the simplest things to their parents. A simple "I love you" would be wonderful for a parent to hear.

Please help these children and their parents.

They deserve the right for a decent education. They need to get better and with your help they can. With the right tools these children can get back to where they were. They need the skills to succeed in school and you can help.
