My students need a Mimio to make our lessons interactive and advanced. The Mimio is a tool that turns a regular white board into an interactive adventure for students.

My Students

Do you remember the screech of the chalk on the board and how it made you cringe with boredom? My students need to be more engaged with an interactive white board in our daily lessons. With the interactive Mimio tool, the only screeching in our room will be the excited voices of my students!

I have 25 students that range from all different backgrounds and races, as well as their own needs to be successful.

While we consider ourselves a family, we recognize and celebrate that we are all different and succeed in different ways. My group of average students, high-achieving students, students with learning disabilities, and students with autism all together make up a supportive, caring atmosphere that boosts each other in our academic adventures everyday.

My Project

With a Mimio board, my student's learning will actually compete with the entertainment they have at home. Being able to interact with their learning through movement, technological manipulatives, and overall engaging lessons would give students the ability to infuse today's fast paced world with educational experiences. Students would have the opportunity to actually jump inside and become the lesson as they manipulated their learning on our interactive board. Lessons would become more exuberant as students would learn concepts through the technology they recognize as typical gaming experiences. The opportunities are endless!

Let's face it- our classrooms need to catch up with our kids.

Students today have so much entertainment through technology available at their fingertips, and the chalk board just doesn't cut it anymore. Help me give my students the technology they need to learn and feel entertained at the same time. Learning is fun, and by having the technology to make lessons more interactive & engaging, my students will develop that love for learning that we cannot give them with the ways of the outdated past.
