We Need Another Flute Please!

My students need a student flute for concert band!

My Students

Remember what is was like to pick up your instrument for the first time and put it to your mouth and make that first sound? Some of my students will not be able to do that this year without support.

I teach band at an inner city Title I school.

I have worked very hard to make sure that lack of funding does not equal lack of opportunity for my students. I am close to accomplishing my goal that all of my students have good working instruments to use. Another good working flute is on our list of things that I need to make this dream for my students come true.

My Project

I am asking for a student flute that I can give to one of my students. Many of the flutes I have are in good working order, but there are some that should be retired if possible. Some are 25 years old and have never been repaired or even tuned so they are about shot. I am hoping to be able to not use those this year, but flute is a popular instrument.

Any donations to this project will help to ensure that a young aspiring musician will be able to learn the flute on a good working instrument.

Nothing is more frustrating than trying to play and not being able to because the equipment is holding you back. Please help.
