My Students

In today society, Technology is the key. Now students can learn more and save the trees and paper by using USB Flash Drives to save their classroom work.

We are a middle school (6th through 8th Grade) in North Carolina and our school is over the 50% free and reduced lunch.

Keeping this in mind, most of our students cannot afford to buy a USB Drive. Due to the paper shortage at our school, I am using all resources available, to get 2GB USB Flash Drives for my students. With this in mind, I personally have bought Flash Drive for 20 of my students.

My Project

Upon getting the USB Flash Drives, I can load all of the information for either their Keyboarding, Business Computer Technology, or Exploring Business Technologies classes. In loading, I will put a link to my website, load the Power Points, and load in all their homework assignments. In doing this, it will eliminate printing out volumes of paper that we do not have and also provide a better place by going green for the environment.

The biggest impact, will be able to see our students grades increase and save our trees from being cut down to make paper.

With the students having the USB Flash drives, It will give an option of saving their work on the drive and turning it in without printing.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
