My Students

Science can be so much fun when it is hands on. Help us get the supplies to make heredity come alive.

We are a public school in Utah.

The community is large but there are few businesses in the area to help support our school. We have some really great kids. They are bright and happy. They really love to learn. My class is also very large. I am starting the year with 35 students.

My Project

These scales will be used to measure the weight of apples. Not only are we strengthening our knowledge of science but also our knowledge of math. Before we have had to skip weighing the apples because we didn't have scales that could pick up the difference in grams.

I really want to help turn my students on to science but I want them to be part of it.

These scales will give my students the chance to use math and science together. It will also give them the chance to have a hands on experience with heredity.
