My Students

Thank you, DonorsChoose! My classroom has received many, many books because of the generosity of so many donors. I have no where to store these books though.

I teach middle school reading in a large urban school district.

I love teaching a subject that I am really passionate about. My students are proficient readers. The challenge is to engage them with books that they will enjoy reading. After all, I am competing with video games and the Internet.

My Project

I need a vibrant place to store all the wonderful novels I have received from DonorsChoose. By displaying the books in various tubs, and making them easily accessible to students, I insure that they will be read and enjoyed. I use novels during reading workshop and for students to enjoy during their independent reading time.

Thanks to DonorsChoose I have books.

Now, I need somewhere to store these treasures! Please consider supporting my students as they grow as readers and develop into lifelong lovers of reading.
