My Students

Wow! These really are the basics. Student clocks, a money kit, daily journals, reading trackers, and test timers. These are actually some of the basics we are lacking in our classroom. We are in desperate need of these learning tools. Please help!

I teach students with special needs.

Most of my students are autistic. They are very visual and hands-on learners. We tend to have less resources than our general education peers and often have to "borrow" supplies and curriculum materials. This can become very frustrating and difficult in an overcrowded school where classroom sizes can exceed more than 40 students. Naturally, it would greatly benefit my students to have these materials and supplies housed in their own classroom where there can be a true sense of ownership and community around our own materials.

My Project

These materials are a basic necessity in order for my students to master their goals. They are tools that can also encourage more independence. I am confident that these supplies will benefit my students ability to take responsibility for their own learning. As a teacher, a students ability to take charge of their own learning is one of the most imperative goals I have for my students.

Once again, these supplies will create great excitement for my students to attain their goals.

They rely heavily on visuals and hands-on materials and these supplies will meet their needs. These supplies will also encourage my students to take responsibility for their own learning.
