My Students

Help! Our "dollar store" whiteboards aren't holding up! We use whiteboards everyday in class for word work, vivacious vocabulary, and math skills. The class set I purchased at the dollar store, well....they simply don't work!

My students are third graders who are learning to love literature, and becoming independent readers.

They will be working hard each day to master word patterns and learn new rich vocabulary words. They love practicing these words, and get excited to find them in "real world" text.

My Project

Individual student White boards in the classroom are very effective, and have MANY different uses. The kids LOVE them and are excited to participate when they are sharing their answers, thoughts, questions etc. on their own white board. We use them daily for word work and new vocabulary. We also use them for literature discussion, and math "quiz" type games. The possibilities are endless, and again ,the kids LOVE them.

This donation will help my students become better readers and writers.

It will help them to become excited about learning and participating. This donation can be used for many years to come reaching several years of classes!
