My students need an easel, flip chart markers, and chart paper to utilize during our group reading time.

My Students

During our group reading time, we write down our reading thoughts on the marker board. I see many groups of students during the day and I cannot keep each students ideas up on the board. The students need to be able to record their ideas and be able to come back to them to review.

I work with third, fourth, and fifth grade Title I students in reading.

I see them individually or in small groups. I work with them in thirty minute sessions, five days a week. Some students I work with more than once a day. The students work very hard to increase their reading skills.

My Project

The materials I am requesting will help my students write down their reading ideas and be able to come back to them and elaborate on them. The students work very hard but are unable to come back to what they are working because the marker boards need to be used by all of my students.

This project is important because reading is the basis for all students' education.

The students need to see their ideas wrote down and be able to come back to those ideas. This project will reinforce what they are learning.
