Learning Through Play

My students need a table and chairs in the dramatic play area of our classroom.

My Students

In our dramatic play center we have a kitchen set, dishes and food, but really no where to play with them. The students tend to take the dishes from that center to another center that has a table to put their stuff on.

We normally have between 40-45 four year olds in our class room each year.

We have a morning session and an afternoon session. Every day when the children come to school they get to do free centers for the first 20 or so minutes of class. The dramatic play center is one of the favorites for the girls and the boys.

My Project

It would really make a difference in our room to have a table and chairs in the dramatic play center. When the children play in that center they are suppose to keep the toys in that area. Since there isn't a table and chairs in there they tend to take the toys to other areas. It would be less stressful for the children and us teachers if they had the table to play with the toys on!

You will make it possible for my students get the most out of their play.

Children learn through their play. They learn social skills, sharing, getting along with others, among many other things through their play. Thank you for making a difference.
