This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Without books for the classroom, I struggle with making copies for my students everyday so they can have materials to take with them. If I were to have a LCD projector, I could make learning fun with the use of different presentations. Plus, they will learn to take notes!!

I am a Spanish teacher at a large high school.

There are over 4,000 students at my school, so many students do not have the opportunity to have books. Because of this, many teachers use daily worksheets to give students. I have found the students rely on these worksheets, when they should be learning to take notes to better prepare themselves for the future, including college.

My Project

A LCD projector will help bring technology in the classroom and capture my students' interest and attention. With a LCD projector, I will be able to make Power Point presentations to capture my students' attention. In Spanish class, it is important that they are exposed to a variety of sound clips, so they can pick up the language better and learn different accents. I can also show them video clips.

With a dwindling school budget, it will be hard to get my students books or other resources.

I know that Power Point presentations displayed through a LCD projector will better capture their attention and enhance their classroom learning. Thank you!!!
