My Students

Imagine for a moment what your life would be like without color.

I am lucky enough to have the opportunity to change someone's life everyday!

I teach 4th grade in a public school in Missouri. The school that I work in is in a low socioeconomic area. The children that I teach are some of the most wonderful children I have ever known. They all deserve the best education possible. Many of the students that I teach do not have the luxury of computers or the Internet outside of the classroom.

My Project

It is my hope to bring some color into my students learning. I am looking for a color printer that the entire 4th grade would be able to use in their classrooms. With the help of this color printer, our students can add color photos and clip art to their writing publications, as well as the presentations that they are asked to do in our classrooms. It is amazing at the increase in their excitement when the papers they print out look just as they imagined when they were creating them.

With your generous donations, you will help bring my students learning to life.

So many learners (including myself) are very visual, and this project will help my students organize their thinking in a better way. It really is tremendous that with a simple splash of color you can see the same things in a completely different way.
