My Students

Technology is the new wave! It is AMAZING what students can do on the computers nowadays . I have to make sure I am up to date on the greatest and latest technology just to keep up with my students!

I have a very bright class, full of students that LOVE using technology.

This was my first year incorporating laptops into my classroom weekly. It was amazing to see what my students already knew what to do as second graders. Some of them were teaching me new things!

My Project

I would love for each of my students to have their own headphones to utilize during laptop time in the classroom. With 28-30 students in a classroom it can get very loud of students require the use of sound while using the laptops. In order for them to make use of the computers the way they are intended to be used I would love for them to use the appropriate volume without worrying about disturbing the rest of the class. My hope is that with the new headphones I will be able to use the laptops during center time more frequently than once a week. This way some students can be doing independent work while others are utilizing the laptops without disturbing anyone.

We all know how fast technology is growing and what an impact it has on students today.

With the use of the headphones, each activity the students participate in will now come alive! Help my classroom enhance the use of technology that is offered to them!
