My Students

My students want to learn more about their world and report what they see.

My inquisitive and innovative students want to broaden their school newsletter.

This year a student initiated an unofficial school newsletter on the school's website. It started as a simple blog and expanded as students joined to become assistant editors and reporters. This year, we want to expand our newsletter by including a "live" broadcast from our students. We will report on all of the exciting projects and after school activities our students engage in.

My Project

My students will be able to video record many of the amazing projects our students create and participate in such as our "mathletes" competition, our annual culture fair, the annual science fair, our school sports teams, and our amazing after school clubs. Our students also eagerly participate in community service programs like raising awareness and funds for Pennies for Peace, and Greg Mortenson's organization to build schools in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Our students also raised awareness for environmental organizations to help protect wildlife and rain forests. Our students will be able to see the amazing work of their peers.

Our students will be empowered by creating a student-led broadcast.

We seek to provide our students with the experiences that will help them become leaders in our society. By providing them with the resources they need, we give them the chance to develop and grow beyond our wildest expectations.
