My Students

Location, location, location! Just as location is key in the real estate market, proximity of team members during lessons is crucial to the progress of cooperative learning structures in my classroom.

Welcome to my 7th grade math classroom!

My students attend a public school in Arkansas, and they love to be actively engaged in their learning. My students are proficient with basic operational math skills and are ready to extend their algebraic thinking.

My Project

As an educator for 11 years, I've found that cooperative learning structures are the most consistent method to enhance student engagement in my math classroom. The foundation of cooperative learning structures is the organization of desks in teams of four. Your donation of two trapezoid tables will help one team of students in my classroom continue to learn math via cooperative learning structures and develop teamwork skills that will prepare them for future careers.
