Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

With all of the time we spend on learning Language Arts and Math, my students hardly have time to do a sufficient Art project. When we do have time, my students don't have the necessary Art supplies.

The students at my school are always eager to learn.

They do their best every day and wait with baited breath for Fine Arts Fridays. To them, the rest of the week is worthwhile just to get a chance at an Art project on Fridays. I want to provide them with all the necessary Art supplies to complete their projects.

My Project

My students will be able to create many masterpieces with the construction paper and glue sticks. We create all sorts of projects, such as: The Very Busy Spider, Owls, Turkeys, Christmas Trees, Valentine Fish, Leprechauns, Easter Bunny, Food Pyramid, etc... At the end of the school year, I take all of their writing and projects and bind them in an Art Journal for their parents to keep for posterity.

Art is such an important piece of the classroom.

I cherish what little time my students have to practice their creativity. I hate the stress of feeling that I do not have the necessary Art supplies for these projects. Your support will be greatly appreciated.
