My Students

My fourth grade students love to learn. Math is a huge part of their learning now, and we don't often have the means to provide them everything for a well-rounded experience in their school.

I am one of the two fourth grade teachers in our grade that focuses on teaching math.

I teach high-poverty students in an extremely low-income area. The school they attend encourages community involvement, and there are many individuals from our community involved at our school.

My Project

The items my students need will help them practice math in fun and exciting ways. While most of my students can do math sitting at a desk completing a worksheet or problems out of the book, they are much more motivated when the work has them moving around or working in groups. The items I have requested will help my students have an interactive experience daily when it comes to math.

These items will help many students in my classes for years to come.

Math is such an important part of their future, and you will be providing them with the tools to help them be successful and productive citizens for the rest of their lives! Thanks in advance!
