Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Air pollution is not healthy! My wonderful students seem to be suffering from seasonal allergies/ asthma and the construction outside our classroom window is not helping! I would like to purchase an air purifier to provide the ideal breathing environment for them.

These wonderful brilliant students attend one of the top five Gifted & Talented Schools in the city!

Although they are in 2nd grade, they are currently completing a 3rd grade curriculum. These wonderful hard working students deserve the very best! Since we are a Title I school, an air purifier is last on the school list for important supplies. There has been a recent increase in construction outside our classroom window, which has caused numerous allergy/asthma symptoms among our students. Please help me create the perfect comfortable learning environment for these hard working gifted students. As a 2nd grade teacher, I want to provide these wonderful students with clean air because they simply deserve it!

My Project

This resource will improve the quality of air in our classroom. This will improve the allergy/asthma symptoms in the classroom. The file Cabinet will organize our different subject areas in the classroom, setting a perfect example for the 2nd grade students!

This project is important because I care about the health needs in the classroom.

Although this is not an academic resource, it still connects to the academic performance of a child. If the child is not comfortable, they will not want to learn. In the end, we would be denying these brilliant students an educational opportunity to learn.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
